Sedona Arts Center Loving Bowls 2010 - Ceramists & Potters Needed!

LOVING BOWLS 2009 was such a huge success that everyone has agreed that it should be an annual event.  Mark your calendars for Saturday, December 10, 2:00 - 6:00pm. You will want to be part of this amazing fundraiser that offers a beautiful selection of Loving Bowls for your purchasing pleasure; plus food (chili & chocolates) and loads of fun.  All proceeds from the event will benefit Meals on Wheels/Adult Community Center, the Cottonwood Old Town Mission and the Arts Education Programs at the Sedona Art Center.

But . . . first . . . the bowls must be created!

The Sedona Arts Center Ceramic Department is officially sending out the call for ceramists and potters, locals and visitors alike, to participate!  Beginning on Thursday March 18th and every Thursday thereafter from 1:00 to 4:00pm the Sedona Arts Center's Ceramic Department will be open to anyone with clay experience to help create bowls. Materials, glazing and firings will be provided. All that you need to provide are a willing heart and creative hands.

The new challenge has been set!  The goal for 2010 is 600 bowls, plus an increased number of celebrity bowls for the silent auction - so, the time to act is now! Let's get started.

Once again - an anonymous angel is covering 100% of the costs, which means that all proceeds will go directly to the three deserving non-profits.

This is a chance to "give back" in a fun and creative way.  Make the 2010 Loving Bowls Event even bigger and better than last year.  For more information on how to participate, please call Dennis Ott at the Arts Center Studio (928) 282-3809 OR (928) 284-0007.

The Sedona Arts Center and Ceramics Studio is located at the corner of State Route 89A and Art Barn Road at the north end of Uptown Sedona - on the right just before you enter Oak Creek Canyon.
